The confederations cup was rated 8 and a half from FIFA president Ser Blater, The LOC took that rating as a huge achievement. And rightfuly so thal all South Africans should be happy about this rating, because this means that in the 12 months that we have left in preperation for the bigest tournament in the history of sports entertainment the world has ever seen everything looks to be heding in the right direction.
Credit must be given to our national soccer team, their performance was at the best since 1996, where we had the legendary Doctor Khumalo, Niel Tovey, Mark Williams playing for bafana and on top of their game.
Hopefully Bafanas performance will somehow see the team go up a few places in the FIFA rankings.

One such team who proved that they deserve to be ranked in the top 5 on the FIFA rankings did not disapoint. Fabiano took the goldem boot award, Kaka took the golden ball award and Brazil tool the FIFA confederations cup for a record 3 times. They took the cup and all the excitement back to Brazil for celebrations out of this world. But the question is will they perform beter next year for the world cup? They are very positive and I guess we have no choice but to wait in great anticipation for next year’s 2010 world cup. Siyabangena……….!!
